Pro Grip started to manufacture products in 1960, in the old factory of via Roma n. 13. However the owners of Plastiche Cassano originated from the family business founded by the grandfather, Mr. Francesco Assaghi. The old company was founded in 1925 and was situated in Cassano Magnago, via Mazzel, 42. It was specialized in the production of handlebar grips made with buffalo horn. Immediately after World War II, the first handlebar grips in plastic, Bakelite and acetate were produced. In those days the production capacity was of about 1.000 pairs of grips per day. Nowadays Pro Grip produce over 100.000 pairs of grips per day. 70% of our products are exported worldwide.
